Madras High Court dismisses bail plea by arrested ED officer Ankit Tiwari in bribery case

Tiwari was arrested by the DVAC earlier this month after allegedly having been caught accepting a bribe of ₹20 lakhs.

The Madras High Court on Wednesday dismissed the bail plea filed by Ankit Tiwari, an officer of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) who was arrested by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) recently following allegations of bribery.
