Malegaon Blast: NIA court calls for medical report after Pragya Singh Thakur absent for hearing again

Special judge AK Lahoti took a dim view Thakur's continued absence from court and said that the same was hampering and delaying the trial in the case.

A Mumbai court, which has been conducting the trial in the 2008 Malegaon Blast case, called for a medical report on Wednesday from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) and prime accused Pragya Singh Thakur after she absented herself from trial proceedings yet again citing medical grounds.
