[COVID-19] Matters listed before Delhi Benches of NCLT from June 15 to August 28 adjourned to future dates; Only urgent matters to be heard

In view of the surge in COVID-19 cases in the national capital, all matters listed before National Company Law Tribunal, Principal Bench and other benches at New Delhi from June 15 to August 28 stand adjourned.

As per a Notice issued by National Company Law Tribunal today, these matters would now be heard in the months of July, August and September.

The specific dates of adjournment are mentioned in the Notice.

The Tribunal would continue to hear urgent matters as earlier.

For getting unavoidable urgent matters listed, an application has to be filed through email to the registry after service of notice to the other side.

In order to expedite virtual hearings and dispensation of justice without any delay during the COVID-19 lockdown,NCLT had asked litigants and stakeholders under Companies Act, 2013 and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 to file Joint Memo of Written Submissions.

Last month, summer vacation at all the Benches of National Company Law Tribunal were cancelled for the year.
