Amid COVID-19, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission has adjourned cases listed before it from June 2 to June 12.
As per a Notice issued today, the matters listed from June 2-12 stand adjourned to dates in August, 2020.
During this period, matters requiring an extremely urgent hearing, if any, may be mentioned before the President, NCDRC at 11 am at his residential office at 18, Akbar Road, New Delhi.
The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission had earlier decided to hold regular sittings from June 2.
Earlier this year, NCDRC had restricted its functioning due to the COIVD-19 pandemic and the consequent lockdown.
