Nayab Singh Saini cannot be both CM and MP: Petition in Punjab and Haryana High Court

It was submitted that since Singh has not resigned as MP of Kurukshetra constituency, the Governor could not have administered him the oath of Chief Minister.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Monday issued notice to the Central and Haryana governments on a petition challenging the appointment of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Nayab Singh Saini as the Chief Minister of Haryana.
