Our legal system fails to consider social realities: CJI NV Ramana reiterates need to Indianise system

"Our system is designed in such a way that by the time all the facts and law are churned in the court, much gets lost ... These are the issues that I want to be addressed through Indianisation", he said.

The Chief Justice of India (CJI) NV Ramana on Saturday reiterated his view that it is imperative to Indianise the justice delivery system, while flagging several areas of concern in the way the Indian justice delivery system currently functions.
