Ramesh Jarkiholi Sex Scandal: Victim asks Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court to monitor SIT probe, seeks protection

The woman who accused former Karnataka Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi of demanding sexual favours in exchange for a job has written to Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka asking him to monitor the ongoing Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the matter..In a letter sent by email, the woman has also asked the Court to direct the State government to provide her protection, given the threats she has allegedly been receiving from Jarkiholi..The three-page claims that the former Minister is colluding with the SIT to influence the probe."I beg the court to take up the case and direct state government to provide me protection and supervise the investigation. There is a threat to me from [Ramesh] Jarkiholi. My family has been forced to give a statement [to the SIT].".She also added that the statements made by her parents that she was kidnapped are "baseless", and that her family was severely pressured to make such a statement..The woman further stated that Jarkiholi is a highly influential person who is capable of going to "any extent" to get a clean chit in the matter.
