Sama has announced the launch of Suljhao Space, a care-led Hybrid Mediation and Online Dispute Resolution Centre in Bengaluru. The centre was inaugurated by eminent expert mediator Sriram Panchu in the presence of senior mediators, lawyers, business leaders, and members of the dispute resolution community.

Suljhao Space has been designed to support complex and sensitive disputes through a hybrid mediation model that combines secure digital infrastructure with thoughtfully designed in-person mediation spaces. The centre will initially focus on co-founder disputes and will gradually expand to family business disputes and other relationship-driven conflicts where emotional dynamics, trust, and dignity are as critical as legal process.

Speaking at the launch, Sriram Panchu noted that co-founder disputes are often, in essence, family disputes rooted in relationships, expectations, and pride, and that dispute resolution processes must recognise and address this human dimension alongside legal and commercial issues.

Pranjal Sinha, Co-Founder of Sama, said,

“Suljhao Space is built as a care-led dispute resolution environment designed to hold not just legal procedure, but also psychological safety, emotional security, and structured dialogue, which are often necessary for meaningful resolution in relationship-driven disputes.”

Sama’s approach is based on a simple belief: most disputes are not purely legal, they are human, financial, and strategic problems at the same time.

In matrimonial matters, resolution often requires a mediator, a financial planner, and a psychologist. In co-founder disputes, it may require mediators, business experts, and experienced mentors. Suljhao Space is therefore built around multidisciplinary dispute resolution rather than purely legal dispute resolution

Sama also announced plans to empanel a curated panel of mediators and domain experts at Suljhao Space, positioning it as a hub for hybrid mediation, practitioner collaboration, and complex dispute resolution.

Akshetha Ashok, Co founder of Sama said,

“We are curating a small panel of mediators and experts who want to work on co-founder, shareholder, and family business disputes through hybrid mediation. If this area of practice interests you, we would be happy to speak.”
