SCBA, SCAORA file joint petition in Supreme Court over directions on marking appearance of lawyers
The plea has been filed taking objection to a September 2024 order of the top court wherein it was directed that AoRs could mark the appearance of only those lawyers who are authorized to appear and argue the case.
The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and Supreme Court Advocate on Record Association (SCAORA) have filed a joint petition before the Supreme Court seeking a declaration that all lawyers present and appearing in a particular case be entitled to mark their appearance through their advocate-on-record (AoR).
