Section 482 CrPC: Supreme Court to examine whether HC can quash sexual harassment case based on compromise between accused, survivor

The Supreme Court on Friday said that it will examine whether a High Court in exercise of its powers under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) can quash a sexual harassment case based on compromise between the accused and the survivor.
