Supreme Court bars Media from revealing identity of sexual assault victims

Reiterating the provisions in the Indian Penal Code and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, the Supreme Court today restrained the media from revealing the names and identities of victims of sexual assault, in any manner.
