Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co has released bonuses to all lawyers as per schedule, even as the Coronavirus lockdown takes effect.

The firm has paid out bonuses without any retention or reduction.

“Today, SAM & Co. released variable pay to all its lawyers, as scheduled and without any retention or reduction. In fact, despite the difficult times, most lawyers have achieved over 100% of their variable pay entitlements, with some lawyers even achieving 200% - something that we are very proud of.”

The Managing Partners have confirmed that the total payout to lawyers this year is higher than last year.

The firm had added 10 more Equity Partners this year and making timely and handsome payouts while being debt free in these testing times is testament to the firm's performance, the Firm's leadership stated.
