Advocate Jadhav has been elected for a third term as the President of the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association.
Advocate Shivaji M Jadhav, has been re-elected as the President of the Supreme Court Advocate on Record Association (SCAORA), winning by a landslide of over 55% margin.
This is his third term as the SCAORA President. Earlier, he had served three terms as its Vice President. The SCAORA elections were conducted yesterday.
In his letter of appeal, before the elections, he had mentioned how he in his previous two terms had tried to implement new resolutions and address grievances of the members.
Among other achievements in the previous terms, he had highlighted the establishment of Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Welfare Trust in 2013, the organisation of national seminars and symposiums, and the efforts of the association to expedite the allotment of chambers.
With his re-election today, Jadhav will now serve an unprecedented third term as the SCAORA President.
