The Himachal Pradesh government has appointed advocate Shivendra Dwivedi Advocate as the Additional Advocate General for Himachal Pradesh to conduct its cases before the Supreme Court..Dwivedi has been practicing law for two decades having done work in civil and criminal litigation, dispute resolution and commercial matters.His primary focus include constitutional matters, election laws, water disputes, land acquisition disputes, matters related to white collar crime including Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), Prevention of Corruption Act and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).Previously, he has served as the Additional Advocate General for the State of Haryana in Supreme Court and also been a panel lawyer for the Government of India. He has also handled matters for various public sector units in various judicial/ quasi judicial fora.
