Justice Prathiba M Singh to flag off SILF Ladies Group Lady Lawyers Day celebrations tomorrow

The Ladies Group of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) will be holding an event to celebrate Lady Lawyers Day on August 5, Saturday..Justice Prathiba M Singh of the Delhi High Court will be inaugurating the event, which is slated to commence at 10 AM on Saturday, at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi.Veteran lawyer, Senior Advocate Fali S Nariman will be giving a special address.The event will also feature a message from Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.As part of the inaugural session, Zia Mody, Managing Partner at AZB and Chairperson of the SILF Ladies Group will deliver an address as well. .The event is set to feature a panel discussion with the involvement of prominent personalities from the legal field. The discussion on "Do women need empowerment?" will be moderated by Shweta Bharti, Senior Partner at Hammurabi & Solomon Partners. The Panelists for this session include Senior Advocate Indira Jaising; Vani Mehta, General Counsel, South Asia at GE; Amita Katragadda, Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Pallavi Saluja, Editor at Bar & Bench; and Shilpa Bhasin Mehra, Head of Legal at AMEA SVITZER.The Presidential address at the function will be given by Dr. Lalit Bhasin, President of SILF.
