Union of India..The Delhi High Court Bar Association and the Co -ordination Committee of the District Bar Association were impleaded in the petition for holding strikes on the issue of pecuniary jurisdiction..When the hearing began today Ram Jethmalani, appearing on behalf of the lawyers, challenged the locus of the the petitioner..The Court, however, proceeded to ask Jethmalani to solve this issue..“You are the Senior member of the Bar. You must take up this issue. You are the only ventilator left”, Justice Arun Mishra remarked..The Court then adjourned the case leaving the Bar to deliberate on the issue.
