Advaita Legal Partner Sudipta Bhattacharjee is joining Khaitan & Co along with his team..Bhattacharjee will join the Indirect Tax team at Delhi as a Partner..Speaking on the move, Khaitan Executive Director Amar Sinhji said,“We are very pleased to welcome Sudipta Bhattacherjee and his Indirect Tax team (from Advaita) to our Firm. He has previously worked with Reliance Communications and BMR Legal (and the erstwhile BMR Associates) before joining Advaita Legal in 2013..Khaitan recently promoted 16 Principal Associates to partnership, taking the total number of partners at the firm to 153..The firm also hired a total of 49 fresh graduates from as many as 20 law schools across the country, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
