Supreme Court grants interim protection to Mamata Banerjee's Election Agent SK Supiyan in murder case

The Court was hearing an appeal against an order of the Calcutta High Court rejecting Supiyan's plea.

The Supreme Court on Thursday granted interim protection from arrest to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's Nandigram election agent, SK Supiyan in a murder case being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
