Supreme Court refuses to entertain plea seeking 6-year poll ban on PM Narendra Modi

The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to entertain a petition seeking disqualification of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi from contesting any elections for a period of six years on the ground that he sought votes in the name of "God and place of worship" during the ongoing Lok Sabha polls [Fatima vs Election Commission of India and anr].
