Supreme Court seeks response from Jammu and Kashmir High Court on plea alleging relatives of judges favoured in appointments as HC staff

The PIL, filed by NGO Jammu and Kashmir People's Forum through advocate Raj Kishor Chaudhary, alleged that several highly-qualified but unemployed youth were not considered for departmental hiring.

The Supreme Court on Friday sought the response of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court in a public interest litigation (PIL) that alleged that relatives of former and present judges were favoured by the High Court while making appointments to its administrative posts [Jammu and Kashmir People's Forum vs High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and ors].
