Swine Flu hits Supreme Court, 6 Judges possibly affected

As many as six Supreme Court Judges have been infected by the H1N1 virus, popularly known as Swine Flu.

Justice DY Chandrachud told the lawyers present in his Court today that six judges thus far have been hit by the virus.

The judges of the Apex Court held a meeting with Chief Justice of India SA Bobde in order to prevent the further spread of the infection.

One of the measures proposed to contain the spread of H1N1 in the Supreme Court is to provide immunization to the lawyers as well as the Court staff.

It is understood that the CJI will hold a meeting with the President of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Dushyant Dave, to discuss preventive steps.
