Three Additional Judges of Kerala High Court made Permanent [Read Notification]

Three additional judges of the Kerala High Court have been made permanent judges.

As per a Central Government notification issued yesterday, additional judges Ashok Menon, Annie John and Narayana Pisharadi R have been made permanent judges of the High Court.

The notification states,

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (1) Shri Justice Ashok Menon, (1) Smt. Justice Annie John and (3) Shri Justice Narayana Pisharadi R., Additional Judges of the Kerala High Court, to be Judges of the Kerala High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended that these judges be made permanent judges of the High Court in July this year. The three were appointed as additional judges of the High Court on November 30, 2017. Their two-year term was set to expire in November this year.
