Two Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas lawyers leave to start Menon Verma

Two former lawyers of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas – Amit Verma and Anjana Menon – have left the firm to start their new firm, Menon Verma.

Menon Verma is a full service law firm that has offices in New Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Verma and Menon have joined hands with Vikash Verma – the third partner at the firm.

Amit Verma will serve as Managing Partner of the firm. He completed his LL.B from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and LL.M from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. He has vast experience in Project Finance. He has previously worked with various banks and financial Institutions including Bank of Baroda and Power Finance Corporation Limited. 

Anjana Menon completed her BA LL.B (Hons.) from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala and LL.M from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. She has over 10 years of experience in advising banks/financial institutions/developers/promoters/sponsors on transactions relating to Project Financing and Infrastructure.

Verma and Menon were working as Principal Associates at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. They were previously part of the team from Krishnamurthy & Co (K Law) that joined CAM in 2016.

Vikash Verma completed his LL.B from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and LL.M from Kurukshetra University, Haryana. He was working with Alpha Corp Development Private Limited before the launch of the new firm. He was also part of the litigation and real estate practice in Hammurabi & Solomon and has worked with infrastructure companies like ASF Insignia SEZ Private Limited and STP Limited.
