Two Partners at Udwadia, Udeshi & Argus, Amol Bavare and Associate Partner Mihir Kamdar have resigned from the firm, according to sources. It is understood that both plan to set up an independent firm of their own. But the two are not the only to be leaving the firm in recent times.

Dilip Udeshi, one of the founding partners of Udwadia and Udeshi, has also retired from the firm. Udeshi had co-founded the firm in 1997 along with Darius Udwadia. Udeshi confirmed his retirement from the firm in July this year and said that he would be continuing with his own practice.

Mihir is a graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai and started his career with Udwadia & Udeshi, in 2003. Nine years later, the firm merged with Argus Partner to form ‘Udwadia Udeshi & Argus’.

It is understood that Amol has also been with the firm since the start of his career.

Earlier, Ramya Hariharan who had set up Argus Partners with Krishnava Dutt, had also resigned from the firm to set up her own practice.

Both Amol and Mihir declined to comment on their future plans. Managing Partner Krishnava Dutt also declined to comment.
