UK doctor booked over Facebook posts against PM Modi gets Bombay High Court nod to fly out

The Court has allowed the modification of an LOC which would enable Patil to travel abroad based on undertakings from him and his parents. Patil also agreed to cooperate with the ongoing investigation.

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday paved the way for the modification of a Look Out Circular (LOC) to enable UK-based doctor Sangram Patil to travel abroad amid an ongoing criminal investigation into allegedly objectionable social media posts against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders [Sangram Patil v. Vilas Rane & Ors.].
