One of the seven litigation Partners at Wadia Ghandy, Rahul Dwarkadas, has resigned from the firm. Dwarkadas, who was made Partner in 2011, has been a WG lawyer since the very start of his career. The firm’s co-managing Partner, Dhawal Mehta confirmed the resignation..Wadia Ghandy has been seeing a steady depletion of talent in the recent past, with Dwarkadas being the most recent departure. In November last year, the firm lost Bangalore Partner, Ankit Majmudar, to Platinum Partners. Majmudar has set up Platinum Partners’ Bangalore office..Although sources in the firm have said that Dwarkadas will be starting his own venture, given the Amarchand split, there is always a possibility that he has been poached by one of the Shroff brothers..Dwarkadas could not be reached for comment.
