[Webinar] Justices SB Saraf, Suraj Govindaraj to speak on "Professional Journeys: Court Craft, Values & Ethics"

A webinar on the theme "Candid Conversations on Professional Journeys: Court Craft, Values & Ethics", is set to feature talks by Calcutta High Court judge, Justice Shekhar B Saraf and Karnataka High Court Judge, Justice Suraj Govindaraj.

The speakers shall be exploring the following themes:

  • Court craft and handling of briefs with clients. Argumentations, et al.

  • Values and Ethics in the legal profession.

  • Their perspectives from being Members of both the Bar and the Bench after passing out from a premier national law university of the country (NLSIU).

  • Their views on the influence and impact of social media on the Justice dispensation.

  • Suggestions to the current crop of young professionals on values, ethics and the importance of hard work in the legal profession to establish oneself as a visible practitioner.

The Interactive Session shall be moderated by Anirudh Lekhi (Associate, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. & Alumnus WBNUJS, Kolkata) and Ganesh A Khemka (Senior Law Clerk cum Research Assistant to Justice Suryakant, Judge, Supreme Court & Alumnus NLSIU, Bengaluru).
