The Annual National Level Moot Court Competition hosted by University Law College is the flagship activity of the student body, Society of Mooters. Upon continuing this legacy, the Society of Mooters is proud to present the 26th All India Moot Court Competition.

About the Organization

University Law College, Bangalore University, is a pioneer legal-education institution located in the garden city of Bengaluru, in the State of Karnataka, India.

About Event

The Annual National Level Moot Court Competition hosted by ULC is the flagship activity of the student body, the Society of Mooters. The competition attracts participants from law colleges all across the country. The Society of Mooters has been one of the most interactive student bodies since the inception of the All-India Moot Court Competition. This year the Society of Mooters is proud to organize the All-India Moot Court Competition 2022, which promises to achieve its basic aim of providing legal minds with a platform to hone their skills. The All-India Moot Court Competition is to be held at University Law College, Jnana Bharathi Campus, Bangalore University, Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Eligibility

Undergraduate students pursuing a 3 or 5-year course of LL.B. degree in the academic year 2021-2022 from any law Schools/College/University recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate.

Team Composition

One team from each institution, comprising a minimum of two (2) and not more than three (3) members, per institution, shall be eligible to participate in the Competition, subject to completion of Registration formalities.

Location

The 26th All India Moot Court Competition will take place in University Law College, Bangalore University, Bangalore from 2nd of June to 4th June, 2022, subject to the prevailing situation of COVID-19.

Registration Procedure

The teams have to provisionally register by filling in a Google form here.

Teams must confirm their participation by sending a scanned copy of the registration form completely filled and duly signed by the Head of the Participating Institution to ulcaimccmoot26@gmail.com latest by 11:59 pm of 5th May 2022.

Release of Clarifications - 10 May, 2022

Last Date for Submission of soft copy of the Memorial - 20 May, 2022

Last Date for Submission of four sets of hard copies of the Memorial with the duly filled registration form - 2 June, 2022

Announcement of Shortlisted teams - 23 May, 2022

Inauguration of AIMCC, Draw of lots, Researcher’s test - 2 June, 2022.

Preliminary Rounds of the Moot Court Competition - 3 June, 2022

Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, Final Round and Valedictory Function of the competition - 4 June, 2022

Unless specified otherwise, the dates mentioned shall refer to 11:59 PM (Indian Standard Time/IST) on that date. For example, the last date for registering is 5 May 2022, which shall be interpreted as 5th May 2022, 11:59 PM (IST).
