Call for papers: NLUO CDLA's international conference on Law, Technology and Inclusive Futures

The Centre for Disability Law and Advocacy (CDLA), at National Law University Odisha (NLUO) is organising an International Conference on “Law, Technology and Inclusive Futures: Rethinking Vulnerability in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation” on September 26 and 27, 2026 at NLUO, Cuttack.

The conference seeks to bring together scholars, practitioners, policymakers and students to examine the intersection of law, technology, vulnerability and inclusion in the context of rapid digital transformation and AI-driven change.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

• The abstract should be 300-400 words with a minimum of 5 keywords. It must clearly indicate the sub-themes chosen from the tracks.

• The name of the author(s) with Designation, e-mail address, and contact number is a must.

• Co-authorship details: Both single and co-authorship are allowed, with author(s)limited to three.

FULL PAPER SUBMISSION

• Upon acceptance and finalisation of the abstract, author(s) are required to submit the full paper.

• The length of the full paper should be between 4,000 and 6,000 words, inclusive of references.

• All manuscripts must strictly follow the OSCOLA (5th edn) referencing style. It is available at: LINK

Mode of presentation can be online/ offline

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

• Submission of Abstract: September 03 , 2026.

• Communication of Acceptance: September 05, 2026.

• Registration along with payment and registration fees: September 06, 2026.

• Submission of working paper for consideration as best paper award: September 24, 2026.

• Submission of full paper for publication: October 30, 2026.

In case of co-authors, both must pay and register separately.

The offline registration fees shall include conference kits, lunch and refreshments for both days of the conference for participants attending the conference offline.

Registration fees do not include travel or accommodations.
