The Moot Court Society at School of Law, SGT University, Gurugram, has announced the 10th SGTU Moot Court Competition (LOKMANTRA) from October 22 to 24, 2026.
About the Competition
Theme: Constitutional Governance, Civil Liberties & Digital Rights.
Moot Proposition: Centers on a compromised national entrance examination and public protests, raising questions under Articles 14 and 21, criminal liability under penal and IT laws, prohibitory orders, internet suspensions, blocking online content, journalist detention/equipment seizure, and limits of state power.
Dates: October 22 to 24, 2026.
Venue: SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana.
Eligibility & Team Composition
Open to students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree courses from any recognized university/institution in India.
Each team shall comprise 3 members (2 Speakers and 1 Researcher) or 2 members (2 Speakers).
