National Law University Odisha (NLUO) has secured 64 placements so far for its batch of 2026 comprising 120 students.

38 offers came in as pre-placement offers (PPOs), 19 through campus placement drives and 7 students accepted positions in litigation chambers.

Additionally, 2 students secured fellowships and 10 students secured admission to LL.M. programmes.

The highest package on record stood at ₹22.5 lakh per annum, while the median package stood at ₹13.5 lakh per annum.

Among law firms, the top recruiter for the batch was Trilegal with 5 offers, followed by Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, S&R Associates, Saraf & Partners, and DWF with 3 offers each. Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Argus Partners and Saakshya Law extended 2 offers each.

AZB & Partners, Khaitan & Co, Sensato Legal, Bharucha & Partners, Game Changer Law Advisors, CMS Indus Law, AKS Partners, BMR Legal, Lawfinity Solutions, S&A Law Offices, PSL Law Offices, Wadhwa Law Chambers, Eva Law, Verist Law, Economic Law Practice, ASV Legal LLP and Gadi and Associates recruited 1 student each.

Among in-house offers, IDBI Bank emerged as the leading recruiter, extending 7 offers through campus placement. Ashok Leyland recruited 2 students, while ICICI Bank, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) and Kalpataru extended 1 offer each.

Additionally, the recruitment cycle attracted participation from consultancies, legal-technology firms and policy institutions beyond conventional law firm and in-house roles. Consilio LLC and Varahe Analytics each hired 1 student, while Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy extended 1 offer.

One student was offered PRS India's LAMP Fellowship and 1 student joined the Graduate Impact Leadership Programme at Nation with Namo. Spotdraft and Commwiser LLP each extended 1 offer.

Several students joined litigation chambers. Dalal Chambers took on 2 students, while NJ Law Chambers, Reddy Law Chambers, the chambers of CK Nandakumar and the chambers of Pranjal Singh each took on 1 student.

10 students of the batch secured confirmed admission to LL.M. programmes at national and international institutions, including the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), NUJS Kolkata, NLIU Bhopal, HNLU Raipur, NUALS Kochi, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and King's College, London.
