CAN Foundation Scholarship for financial assistance to NLU Students [Applications Open]

The Confederation of Alumni for National Law Universities (CAN) is calling for applications from those who require financial assistance for University fees at National Law Universities and related purposes. 

The applications are being invited as part of the CAN Foundation’s Ekalavya Project. Of the applications received, 25 candidates will be shortlisted, of which scholarships will be given to 18 candidates. The break up of the scholarship is as follows.

  • Scholarship of Rs 51, 000 for 9-10 candidates
  • Scholarship of Rs 1,01, 000 for 7-8 candidates

Interested students from any National Law Universities can access the application for the scholarship on the CAN Foundation website i.e. www.canfoundation.in. Applications can now only be made online by uploading the same on the site. No offline applications will be accepted. 

The last date for filing the application available on the site is November 5, 2019. 

The applications received will be examined by a Scrutiny Committee on the basis of the criteria formulated by the Foundation, subject to the applicant meeting minimum eligibility criteria provided in the application form. 

The CAN Foundation is a charitable trust established to aid students in the pursuit of law. Project Ekalva is the first of three projects planned by the Foundation to help students who require financial assistance in this area.
