RPNLU Prayagraj invites applications for the composition of its University anthem

Participants are requested to send their error-free typed compositions by September 11.

The Dr. Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj (RPNLU) is inviting interested individuals to submit their original and self-composed works for the composition of the University's anthem (Kulgeet).

This initiative is a significant step towards strengthening the university’s identity and cultural heritage.

Guidelines for Composition:

1. The composition must be written in Hindi (Devanagari script).

2. It should be rhythmical in nature.

3. Duration of the composition should be between 50 to 55 seconds.

4. The anthem must include the following elements:

  • The University Motto: “Yanti Nyaya Pravrittasya”

  • Importance of Justice and Law

  • Significance of the Allahabad High Court

  • Relevance of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India

  • The uniqueness of the confluence of Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers.

The selected composition will be finalized by a committee constituted by the University, and the author will be awarded a Certificate of Appreciation along with a cash prize of ₹50,000.

All participants are requested to send their error-free typed compositions to kulgeet@rpnlup.ac.in within three weeks, i.e., by September 11, 2025.
