About Child Rights Clinic

The Child Rights Clinic (CRC) is part of the Clinical Programmes at Jindal Global University. The Clinic focuses on addressing legal issues faced by children in India. At present, CRC comprises of a team of 6 Faculty Coordinators, 30 Student Members & 11 Student Volunteers.

India has the largest child population in the world, with children below the age of 18 years accounting for nearly 40 per cent of India’s population. In the context of commitments under its Constitution and under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), India is duty bound to take measures to address violation of child rights and provide holistic support to child victims and children in conflict with law.

The Child Rights Clinic, Jindal Global Law School, is proud to announce the third webinar in its lecture series on "Children’s Rights in the Indian context" scheduled to be held on 21st October (Thursday) from 04:00 Pm to 05:30 Pm on "Restorative Justice and Children's Rights".

The webinar structure will be in the form of a lecture by all panelists, followed by a question-and-answer round.

This session shall be moderated by Professor Konina Mandal, Lecturer, JGLS and Faculty Coordinator, Child Rights Clinic.
