Anurag Soan, Shrey Bhardwaj launch First Principles Advocates

The firm specializes in dispute resolution and will be headquartered in New Delhi and Mumbai.

Anurag Soan and Shrey Bhardwaj have together set up a new firm called First Principles Advocates (FPA), headquartered in New Delhi and Mumbai.

FPA’s strength and core practice areas are Tax, Customs, International Trade laws, Regulatory and Criminal laws. The firm specializes in dispute resolution.

Soan is an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India. He is a litigator who regularly appears before the Supreme Court, High Courts and tax tribunals. 

He is a first generation lawyer and has 8+ years of experience in handling complex Taxation, Constitutional and Criminal matters. 

Bhardwaj is a practicing advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa. He has over 8 years of experience working with top-tier law firms of the country.

His practice areas includes Goods and Service Tax, Customs, Trade Laws and erstwhile Indirect Tax laws. He has experience in handling high stake tax litigation matters.
