Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas Partner Divi Dutta has joined Khaitan & Co as a Partner in Private Client practice in the firm's National Capital Region (Noida) offices. 

Dutta is a graduate of the Government Law College, Mumbai.

She has over 17 years of experience in private client and general corporate practices. She specializes in succession planning, trusts, wills, estates, family constitution/settlements, ring-fencing of assets, private wealth management advisory and structuring and servicing for HNI’s. On the corporate side, she advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, foreign investments, and general advisory matters. 

On Dutta's joining, Amar Sinhji, Executive Director said, “We are very pleased with Divi’s joining our Firm’s Private Client Practice. Private Client is a high growth practice for us and we are rapidly scaling up our resources to support the growth. Divi brings the required expertise, experience and deep client relations, especially in the North, which will be the focus area for her.”

Prior to joining Khaitan & Co, Dutta was associated with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas for over 11 years and held the position of a Partner at SAM for nearly 8 years.
