Luthra Capital Markets Partner Geeta Dhania quits to join ELP with team

Dhania is a Capital Markets lawyer with over 19 years of experience.

Luthra & Luthra Law Offices India Capital Markets Partner Geeta Dhania has left the firm to join Economic Laws Practice (ELP) as a Partner at the firm's Noida office.

It is understood that Dhania has joined ELP with a team of six lawyers.

Confirming the development, ELP Managing Partner Suhail Nathani said,

“We welcome Geeta to ELP. She brings us a vertical that is allied to ELP’s growing client needs and profile. With her on the team we look forward to entering the Capital Markets space well beyond Delhi.”

Dhania is an alumnus of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore. She is a Capital Markets specialist with 19 years of experience. She has led transactions that include domestic and international listings of equity, debt and convertible securities, and a host of private placements and public offerings by issuers across a wide range of industries.

She has advised on some of the largest securities transactions in the Indian capital markets. In addition, she has worked closely with leading investment banks in India on various securities law matters.

Recently, Luthra Partner Jay Parikh left the firm to join Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas.
