Nishith Desai Associates Global Litigation Head Moazzam Khan has left the firm to set up his own counsel practice.

Commenting on his decision, Khan said,

"I am grateful that I’ve had the opportunity of nurturing my true passion of being an arguing counsel, while being a part of law firms for the past 15 years.

After more than a decade of enriching time at NDA, where I led the internal advocacy unit as well as Global Litigation practice, setting up my independent chamber practice is the next obvious step in that direction.

As an independent counsel, I am looking forward to working with my colleagues and friends across the fraternity."

Khan spent 10 years working at Nishith Desai Associates, including 5 years as Head - Global Litigation.

He is graduate of Symbiosis Society’s Law College (Symbiosis International University), Pune. He started his career with Bhasin & Co (New Delhi) in 2007 before moving to NDA in 2012.

Recently, Leader, Digital Tax and Social Finance at Nishith Desai Associates Meyyappan Nagappan had left the firm to join Trilegal.
