CMS INDUSLAW acts on Godrej Industries $105 million NCD issuance

The fundraise further strengthens Godrej Industries' capital base and financial flexibility.

Godrej Industries Limited has made an issuance of rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) aggregating to $105 million on a private placement basis.

The issuance comprised two series of ₹500 crore each and was listed on the Wholesale Debt Market segment of the National Stock Exchange of India, with Catalyst Trusteeship Limited acting as the Debenture Trustee.

CMS INDUSLAW advised Godrej Industries on this fundraise.

The transaction team consisted of Abir Lal Dey (Partner), Associates Khushi Sharma and Soham Dwibedi.

The fundraise further strengthens Godrej Industries' capital base and financial flexibility, with the proceeds earmarked for strategic business initiatives, investments, refinancing of existing indebtedness and general corporate purposes.
