Kochhar & Co advises REC Limited on financing Telangana Super-Specialty Hospitals

₹23.85 billion has been sanctioned to Telangana Super-Specialty Hospitals.

REC Limited, a 'Maharatna' company under the administrative control of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has provided credit facility of ₹23.85 billion to Telangana Super-Specialty Hospitals Corporation Limited.

Kochhar & Co advised REC Limited in this financing deal. The firm provided end-to-end support for the transaction, including conducting due diligence, drafting, negotiating, and finalizing the transaction documents, including closing and completing other related activities.

The transaction was led by Sharmil Bhushan (Banking & Finance Partner, Kochhar Mumbai), who was supported by Jyoti Punjabi (Senior Associate).

Telangana Super-Specialty Hospitals will be setting-up of 3 super-specialty hospitals in the state of Telangana with these funds.
