Saraf and Partners advises AMPIN Energy Transition on $100 million equity fundraise

AMPIN Energy Transition has raised upto $100 million from an equity fundraise from Norfund, the developmental finance institution of the Norwegian Government, through the Norwegian Climate Investment Fund.

Saraf and Partners advised AMPIN Energy Transition on this fundraise.

The transaction team was led by Avirup Nag (Partner) and Ankit Sahoo (Partner Designate), with support from Associates Ashwini Panwar and Sneha Smriti.

The capital infusion takes AMPIN’s total equity raised to nearly $1 billion, enabling capital deployment of over $4 billion.

This transaction is a significant milestone in India’s renewable energy landscape, with AMPIN becoming the only energy transition company in India to attract leading investors from Europe, North America, and Asia.
