AZB Delhi promotes Debashish Sankhari to partnership

AZB & Partners, Delhi has promoted Senior Associate Debashish Sankhari to partnership. The partnership is effective from April 1, 2012.

Sankhari has been working with the firm for more than 3 years. Speaking to Bar & Bench Sankhari said, “It is definitely a big honour and privilege to be promoted in a firm like AZB. I am certainly looking forward to the challenging opportunities that lie ahead”.

Prior to joining AZB, Sankhari was working with FoxMandal as a Senior Associate. Before that he was working at Vaish Associates. He worked with Vaish for almost 2 years.

Sankhari is a graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore. He initially started his career with an international non-governmental organization, the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative. He was part of the advocacy group for three years after which he decided to move to corporate law practice.

This takes the total number of Partners at the Delhi office to 17.
