The third edition of Bengaluru ADR Week will be held from November 13 to 15, 2026, with judges, senior advocates and arbitration practitioners from India and abroad expected to participate in the three-day conference.

The conference, organised by the Bengaluru ADR Week Organising Committee, will focus on the theme "ADR: Diverse Perspectives. Viable Resolutions. One Sustainable Ecosystem."

Former Supreme Court judges Justices RV Raveendran, L Nageswara Rao, S Ravindra Bhat and Abhay S Oka will be among the prominent participants.

Karnataka High Court Chief Justice Vibhu Bakhru and several sitting judges of the High Court, including Justices DK Singh, BM Shyam Prasad, Sunil Dutt Yadav, SR Krishna Kumar, Sachin Shankar Magadum, R Nataraj, ER Indiresh, MGS Kamal, Tara Vitasta Ganju and CM Poonacha, are also expected to participate.

The conference will feature discussions on the growing role of artificial intelligence in arbitration, the expanding scope of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), institutional independence, arbitral appointments and ethical standards.

A session titled "A Made for India ADR Model: What should we change?" will examine the need for changes to India's existing dispute resolution framework.

Other discussions will focus on challenges in enforcing arbitral awards and whether confidentiality surrounding such awards is holding back the development of arbitration.

A special roundtable on "Making Bengaluru a seat of choice: A roadmap for Karnataka" will explore measures to position the city as a preferred destination for domestic and international arbitration.

The conference will also feature a debate on whether domestic arbitral awards should be subject to a statutory first appeal.

Karnataka Advocate General K Shashi Kiran Shetty and Senior Advocates Aditya Sondhi, Gaurav Pachnanda, Pramod Nair and Jayna Kothari are among the speakers.

International participants will include representatives from White & Case, Linklaters, Baker Botts and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. Representatives from leading Indian law firms and in-house legal teams will also participate.

The event has received support from the Karnataka High Court, the Arbitration and Conciliation Centre, Bengaluru (Domestic and International), and the Advocates Association of Bangalore.

Registration will be free on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to confirmation by the organising committee.
