Breaking: AZB makes 7 Partners in Delhi

AZB & Partners has today promoted seven of its Senior Associates in Delhi to partnership.

Here is the list of the newly promoted lawyers, along with their alma mater and year of graduation:

1. Abhishek Awasthi (GLC Mumbai, 2007);
2. Dushyant Bagga (Pune University, 2008);
3. Pallavi Meena (NLSIU, 2007);
4. Priyamvada Shenoy (Pune University, 2008);
5. Ravi Bhasin (Pune University, 2008);
6. Rohan Bagai (Amity Law School, IP University, 2007); and
7. Sumit Ghoshal (NLU Jodhpur, 2008).

Abhishek, Dushyant, Pallavi, Priyamvada and Ravi work with teams focussed on our M&A, private equity and debt securities practices. Rohan has special focus on fin-tech practice and Sumit works extensively on employment laws, in addition to general corporate.

The firm has seen a slew of hires and promotions in the last few months. In March, AZB promoted six of its lawyers in Mumbai to partnership. Additionally, Sonali Mathur was later promoted to partnership in April. Last month, Desai & Diwanji’s Anoj Menon joined the firm as a Partner.
