CaseMine launches Campus Connect: Campus Fellow Program for Law Students

Through the Program, selected fellows will represent CaseMine within their institutions, organise workshops and discussions, and encourage conversations around how technology is reshaping the legal profession.

Bar & Bench

CaseMine has launched Campus Connect: CaseMine Campus Fellow, a student-led initiative for law students interested in the intersection of law, leadership, and legal AI. The Program is designed to help students build awareness of AI-powered legal research on campus while bridging legal education with modern legal practice. CaseMine describes itself as an AI-powered legal research platform, with CaseIQ positioned as an AI-based case research assistant and AMICUS as its legal AI assistant.

Through the Program, selected fellows will represent CaseMine within their institutions, organise workshops and discussions, and encourage conversations around how technology is reshaping the legal profession. The initiative is positioned as more than a campus role: it is a forum to explore how technology is reshaping justice, a bridge between classrooms and the evolving digital legal ecosystem, and a community of law students helping shape the next chapter of legal process.

Selection process and SOP

  • Application stage: Students begin by submitting the Google Form with their details and required application material. The process then moves through resume and statement of purpose review, shortlisting, and final onboarding, making it a structured, merit-based selection journey.

  • What the SOP is meant to show: The statement of purpose is not treated as a routine formality, but as a way to assess a candidate’s clarity of thought, leadership instinct, genuine interest in CaseMine, and understanding of legal AI.

  • What applicants are expected to express: The SOP should explain why the applicant wants to become a CaseMine Fellow, what excites them about the intersection of law and AI, what they hope to build on campus, the kind of sessions or conversations they would lead, and the impact they want to create during their tenure.

What selected fellows gain

  • Certificate of Excellence: Fellows receive formal recognition for their leadership and contribution to the Program.

  • Exclusive fellowship merchandise: Selected fellows receive CaseMine fellowship gear and branded merchandise.

  • Internship opportunities: Standout fellows may get the opportunity to intern with CaseMine and gain hands-on exposure to legal technology.

  • Reward for impact: The Program offers an Amazon voucher worth ₹3,500 for impactful participation.

  • AI Premium Access: Fellows receive a free annual subscription to CaseMine’s AI-powered legal platform worth Rs. 41,999, giving them direct access to advanced legal research and AI tools.

  • Publishing opportunity: Fellows may also get the chance to publish their articles on CaseMine’s blog or website, giving them visibility within the wider legal community.

How to Apply?

Eligible applicants include second- or third-year students of five-year integrated law program and second-year students of three-year LL.B. program who are interested in law and technology, have strong communication and leadership skills, and are enthusiastic about legal research and innovation.

Applications are open until March 29, 2026, and students can apply through the Google Form.
