Citi GC Sandip Beri joins Amarchand Mangaldas as Partner

Sandip Beri, former Citibank General Counsel, is joining Amarchand Mangaldas as a Partner in the Delhi office.

Sandip had resigned from Citi as General Counsel (South Asia) in May after working there for almost two years. He had joined Citi in May 2010.

Sandip, who is dual qualified to practice both in India and the US, has over 27 years of experience working both at a law firm and as in-house counsel.

Prior to joining Citi, he was working as General Counsel, South Asia, and Head of the Corporate Secretarial and Government Relations at GE Capital after a stint at the GE headquarters in US. The graduate of Faculty of Law, Delhi University worked as an Associate at the Chicago offices of US-based Sidley & Austin, after pursuing his Masters at the University of Wisconsin.

Pramod Rao, former IndusLaw Partner and ICICI GC, has replaced Sandip at Citi as General Counsel (Asia).
