Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Principal Associate, Abhinav Surana, has recently resigned from the firm. Abhinava is likely to join Juris Corp as a Partner according to sources.

Abhinav is dual qualified to practice in India and England & Wales. He joined Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai after completing his training contract with Herbert Smith in London.

He was part of the firm’s corporate group and focuses on transactions relating to PE, joint ventures, M&A and general corporate space.

Last month Juris Corp had also hired Trilegal Counsel Aninda Pal as Partner in its Mumbai office to focus on the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions & Private Equity practice.

Both Abhinav and Juris Corp Founding Partner H Jayesh were not available for comments at the time of publishing the story.
