Ex-Udwadia Udeshi Argus Partner, Amol Bavare joins Legasis Partners; Mihir Kamdar joins FTIL as Litigation Head

Amol Bavare, who had resigned from Udwadia Udeshi & Argus last month, has joined Legasis Partners as a Partner. Mihir Kamdar, who also resigned along with Amol, has joined Financial Technologies India Limited (FTIL) as Litigation Head.

Amol is the fifth partner to join Legasis Partners. Set up in 2007 by Suhas Tulzapurkar, Legasis has offices in Mumbai, Pune and Delhi with a team of around 45 lawyers.

Mihir, who is a graduate of Government Law College, Mumbai, started his career with Udwadia & Udeshi in 2003 and recently resigned from the firm to join FTIL as Head, Litigation. He will be handling all of FTIL’s litigation matters. 

Earlier this year, Ramya Hariharan, who had set up Argus Partners with Krishnava Dutt, had also resigned from the firm to set up her own practice.

Dilip Udeshi, one of the founding partners of Udwadia and Udeshi, had also retired from the firm and now has his own independent practice.

Correction: Dilip Udeshi has joined Dhruve Liladhar & Co. as a Partner.
