Former Kochhar & Co. Partner Gautam Bhatikar has joined Legasis Partners as a Senior Partner. Bhatikar has joined the firm as Head of the Maritime, Shipping & Offshore practice.

Apart from the Maritime practice, Bhatikar will be handling and advising on Commercial Litigation and International Commercial Arbitration.

At Kochhar, Bhatikar headed the Maritime & Shipping practice and was also co-heading the firm’s Mumbai Office. Prior to Kochhar, he was a Partner at ALMT Legal, where he spent over six years.

He has previously also worked at Paras Kuhad and Mulla & Mulla.
