HSA to set up Indirect Tax Practice Abhishek Dutta and Nand Kishore to join Partnership

HSA Advocates has hired Abhishek Dutta and Nand Kishore from BMR Advisors to launch the Indirect Tax Practice of the firm. Abhishek Dutta and Nand Kishore will join the partnership with effect from June 1, 2011.

HSA Advocates has hired Abhishek Dutta and Nand Kishore from BMR Advisors to launch the Indirect Tax Practice of the firm. Abhishek Dutta and Nand Kishore will join the partnership with effect from June 1, 2011. 

Abhishek is a graduate of the National Law School of India University and has indirect tax experience in all industry verticals.  Abhishek’s practice focuses on high end strategic advisory and diagnostic reviews in indirect taxes. He has been a lead advisor in relation to GST for a large oil and gas conglomerate. Prior to BMR, Abhishek has worked with Ernst & Young.

Nand has experience in both advisory and litigation practice in the areas of Excise, Customs, Service tax and Foreign Trade Policy laws.  Prior to joining BMR, Nand has worked with Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan.

Abhishek and Nand together bring on board a blend of advisory and litigation experience in the Indirect tax practice.

Both Abhishek and Nand will be based out of the New Delhi office.

With the appointment of Abhishek Dutta and Nand Kishore, HSA has expanded its partnership to 11 partners across New Delhi and Mumbai.

HSA had recently hired two lateral Partners Anjan Dasgupta and Meenakshi Arora.
